Every deadline now says how many days are left

Instead of a bare date, each task's deadline now reads "5 days left", "Due today" or "3 days overdue".

What changed

A date like "15 October" on its own does not say how close the work is. Wherever a task's deadline is shown there is now a small badge beside it that says it plainly: "5 days left", "1 day left", "Due today" or "3 days overdue". A task with a time counts in hours and minutes as it gets close, for example "13 hours left".

The time-left badge on board cards

How to use it

Nothing to switch on. The badge appears on its own:

  1. On project board cards and in a task's details
  2. On My work and the work desk
  3. In a customer file's history
  4. On milestones

Time left on My work

Good to know

  • The colour helps too: blue means there is still time, amber means due today, red means past the deadline.
  • A finished task carries no badge.
  • Days are counted by the same rule the lists use, so a task "Due today" is never in the overdue list.

The Desktop now works like a real one

Icons open with a double click, a right click opens a menu, a drag selects several icons, windows resize from any edge and snap to halves and quarters, and open windows sit on the taskbar or in the Dock. Each section has its own colour, and your wallpaper shows on the Desktop.
